Even the most professional types run the risk of copping a real life knuckle sandwich when filming fight scenes.

And new James Bond Daniel Craig knows exactly what we're talking about.

He has had two teeth knocked out during a round of pretend fisticuffs while filming Casino Royale.

According to the Sunday Mirror, it was an actor playing the villain's henchman who did the damage.

An on-set insider said: "Daniel was filming with some minor actors when he got hit in the face.

"He was reeling from a heavy blow and staggered back holding his face.

"He put his hand to his mouth but the blood started to seep through his fingers - it was horrible."

But back in the real world, Daniel needed to fly his London dentist to Prague, where the filming is taking place.

But with caps fixed onto his broken teeth, he was given special gum shields to protect them when filming future fight scenes.

We hope it hasn't left Mr Bond too shaken.
