The second of the 'Highlander' time-travelling adventures. Christopher Lambert is back as the immortal warrior Connor MacLeod, aided in his mission to save the Earth from a disappearing ozone layer by his flamboyant partner Ramirez (Sean Connery).
Australian director Russell Mulcahy is also back at the helm, but this is an incoherent effort with Lambert, who now appears to be an alien, sleepwalking through his role.
The action sequences are when the film briefly springs to life. A knowledge of the first film is not necessary to get what enjoyment you can out of this one.
