A spoof sci-fi adventure, rather akin to 'Hell Drivers' in space, and set around independent space trucker John Canyon (Dennis Hopper).

When his profits are stolen after he delivers a cargo of genetically modified pigs (they're square so as to stack better!) Canyon agrees to take a profitable, mysterious, no-questions-asked cargo to Earth, accompanied by apprentice trucker Mike (Stephen Dorff) and his fiancee, Cindy (Debi Mazar).

But on the way they are captured by pirates, led by Captain Macanudo (Charles Dance), who discovers the secret cargo - an army of androids that capitalist corp chief EJ Saggs (Shane Rimmer) is planning to use to takeover Earth.

Its high production values and tongue-in-cheek script, not to mention entertaining performances from Hopper and Dance, make this a far more enjoyable ride than at first seems possible.
