Ghastly, tired, nastily violent action thriller featuring the skills of Chuck Norris, who seems mighty weary here - and you know an action film is bad when even the fighting is boring. Old Chuck plays a top US secret agent who decides that, because he's got a bit long in the tooth and short in the breath, he can't take on any more of those peskily dangerous military assignments. So Chuck sets off to find a fearless replacement to train to become the next president's man. And, yes, Chucky gets lucky, finding, conveniently languishing in jail ,an ex-army sergeant (husky Dylan Neal), whom he can now conveniently spring for glory. The fact that's it's hopelessly and risibly bad doesn't in any way mitigate its total offensiveness.
