The Edge Of Heaven, directed by award-winning filmmaker, Fatih Akin, was released theatrically in Curzon and City Screen cinemas on Friday 22nd February 2008.
And, the very same day, it was made available to over 8 million Sky subscribers via Sky Box Office, as well as on the Sky Anytime movie download service!
The movie follows the lives of six people - four Turks and two Germans - as they criss-cross through love and tragedy.
It was awarded the Best Screenplay gong at both Cannes and The European Film Awards, and has been selected as Germany's entry in the best Foreign Language category at this year's Oscars.
The deal between Sky Movies and the studio behind the release, Artificial Eye, means that the film will reach a much larger potential audience.
