Predictable but often amusing father-son reunion movie starring Billy Crystal (he also co-wrote and co-produced) which was Henry `The Fonz' Winkler's directorial debut. Crystal is his usual personable self as a slightly neurotic surgeon who suffers a heart attack in the operating theatre, while comedian Alan King (he also co-produced) demonstrates his considerable acting talents as his estranged Hollywood bit-part-player father. Sean Connery turns up in a cameo role playing himself and JoBeth williams as Crystal's `ex' is also along for the lightweight ride.
