This brilliantly funny and inventive satire was ahead of its time (and therefore failed to find an audience) and remains by far and away the best film that director Theodore J Flicker ever made. The script (also by Flicker) is sharp and witty and the film, with the panther-like James Coburn at the centre of its action, rollicks along from one outrageous incident to another with a never-slackening pace. Stay tuned for the glorious finale involving the Telephone Company. The whole enterprise is an unexpected treat.
