This modestly delightful comedy teams David Niven at his most suave and urbane as a theatre critic and Doris Day as his wife. To keep him away from the romantic attentions of a Broadway star (Janis Paige), she moves the whole family out of New York and into a musty old mansion in the country. There's more to it than that, with hassles from neighbours, relations and a seriously irate producer who resents the panning Niven gave his last play (a good comic role for Richard Haydn). A silly title, but a witty and amusing film with a hit theme song into the bargain.
