Craggy Richard Basehart is the only survivor of a downed World War Two bomber. Years later, the wreckage of the plane is found in the Lybian desert, starting an investigation into the incident... This is a well-realised TV drama with a touch of the supernatural to add a frisson of fear. A solid cast is headed by Basehart, Vince Edwards and, in an early departure from his Star Trek command, William Shatner.
