This TV movie is a far-fetched psychological thriller that descends into silliness. JoBeth Williams is the psychoanalyst, Virginia Madsen's the patient and Pierce Brosnan is the oversexed English professor with whom Madsen is obsessed. A predictable love triangle scenario follows, with the added twist that one of them is a killer. Even the love scenes in this film aren't credible, with the first half-hour looking like no more than a cheap porno effort.
