Young professionals Chevy Chase and Madolyn Smith-Osborne move to the country so he can write the great novel inside him in this cheerful but rather thin comedy. They find themselves in a rural haven which is populated by eccentrics, he gets a bad case of writer's block and to add insult to injury, she writes a successful children's book. This is a bland, inoffensive film that could have been a lot better but is a mildly amusing time-passer for the undemanding.
