Audrey Hepburn was ill-served in this, her first television film, in which she plays a concert pianist forced to turn to theft to raise the ransom demanded by kidnappers who are holding her fiancé. She is aided by a mysterious stranger, played by Robert Wagner, hiding behind a dark beard. The fact that this is all rather silly and inconsequential wouldn't have mattered had there been an abundance of wit and humour in evidence, but there's not much of either. It's fast-moving and quite exciting in places, but just a pale imitation of such Hepburn films of the Sixties as Charade and How to Steal a Million - even though she gives it something of a lift by the sheer magic of her personality.
