David Spade

David Spade was nominated for a 1999 Emmy Award, two Golden Globe awards and an American Comedy Award for his role as Dennis Finch, the wisecracking, power hungry assistant on Just Shoot Me!
Previously best known for his five year stint on Saturday Night Live, Spade was last seen in Joe Dirt.
Like Dickie Roberts, Joe Dirt was produced by Adam Sandler and co-written by Spade and Fred Wolf.
Showing his versatility, Spade lent his voice to Disney's animated feature The Emperor's New Groove, joining stars the likes of Eartha Kitt, John Goodman and Wendie Malick.
Two years after graduating from Arizona State University, Spade made his television debut on Saturday Night Live, serving as a writer and performer on the series for five seasons.
Some of Spade¿s most memorable characters on SNL, which made their way into popular culture, include the sarcastic Hollywood Minute reporter on Weekend Update, the buh-bye flight attendant and a show business executive's blasé receptionist known for routinely asking "...and you are¿?".
His other television appearances include his own cable special, David Spade: Take the Hit, and guest-starring spots on the critically-acclaimed The Larry Sanders Show and HBO's 13th Annual Young Comedians Special. He also hosted The 1997 Billboard Music Awards and headlined the award show the following year.
Other credits include Tommy Boy, his feature debut, and Black Sheep, co-starring in both with Saturday Night Live¿ alumnus and friend, the late Chris Farley; Lost & Found, which he also co-wrote; Reality Bites; Light Sleeper; Coneheads; PCU; 8 Heads in a Duffle Bag; Senseless, and the animated features Rugrats: The Movie and Beavis & Butthead Do America (in addition to voicing the television series).
Born July 22 in Birmingham, Michigan, and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona, Spade began his career by performing stand-up comedy in clubs, theaters and colleges across the country ¿ something he has done for more than a decade. He was named Hot Stand-up Comedian of the Year by Rolling Stone magazine.
