Three for the price of one here as horror director John Carpenter tells three gory tales to keep you awake at night. The Gas Station has a young woman (Alex Datcher) working alone being terrorised by nutter Robert Carradine. In Hair, Stacy Keach thoroughly enjoys himself as a yuppie with a hair loss problem who is offered a bizarre and nasty solution by David Warner. And last but by no means least is Eye (directed not by Carpenter but by fellow horror helmer Tobe Hooper), in which ball player Mark Hamill is given a new right eye which, of course, starts to take over... Lovers of this kind of thing will find that this is the kind of thing they love and a bizarre cast (which also includes Sheena Easton, Twiggy, Deborah Harry and directors Wes Craven, Sam Raimi and Roger Corman) ensure that it's good, blood-soaked, tongue-in-cheek fun.
