A true-life Canadian drama about a researcher (Melissa Gilbert), diagnosed with a blood clot on the brain, who finds she was adopted at birth and hunts for her father who raped the mother she has never known. A strange, hard-going kettle of fish this, but a good cast struggles hard to hold it together. Star Trek's William Shatner has a key role.
