This undemanding family film concerns the efforts of a faithful dog to be reunited with its owners. Young Luke (Chad Krowchuk) and his parents Rick (Michael Riley) and Sheila (Shannon Lawson) are on the verge of emigrating from Canada to a new life in Australia when Heck, their beloved border collie, goes missing. They reluctantly set off to Vancouver to await their ship, while Heck embarks on the long journey to rejoin them.
