Sandra Oh

The former ballerina is at home on both screen and stage and has appeared in movies including Bean, Waking The Dead and Under The Tuscan Sun.
She began her career as a ballet dancer and eventually studied drama at the National Theatre School in Montreal.
Oh then starred in a London stage production of David Mamet's Oleanna and appeared as the title character in the Canadian TV production The Diary of Evelyn Lau.
The story of a tortured poet who ran away aged 14 to become a drug addict and prostitute won Oh and Cannes FIFPA d'Or for best actress.
She then moved to LA to star as Rita Wu in the TV comedy Arliss and also appeared on stage in Stop Kiss and The Vagina Monologues in New York.
On the big screen, she starred opposite Rowan Atkinson in Bean and alongside Sarah Polley in Guinevere.
Subsequent roles included Kim in the thriller Waking The Dead and Jasmine in Dancing At The Blue Iguana alongside Daryl Hannah.
In 2001, she starred as Vice Principal Gupta in The Princess Diaries and had featured roles in Big Fat Liar and Full Frontal.
Recent work includes the role of a lesbian single mother alongside Diane Lane in Under The Tuscan Sun.
