The popular vogue for bodily function jokes reached some kind of crescendo in this witless farrago about a group of gross-out students whose detention essays about the failure of the educational system somehow attract national attention. The only good thing in it is new comedy star Kevin McDonald as a nutty crossing guard (the US equivalent of a lollipop man) with a furiously funny fixation about Star Trek. Matt Frewer stars.
