This alleged romantic comedy about the relationship between a workaholic animal beahvior researcher (Karen Allen) and a tweedy music teacher (Armand Assante) falls flat on almost every level. The basic story is pretty disjointed thanks to the fact that two directors worked on it and there were plenty of editing fingers in the post-production pie. With a poor script, some very poor acting from Allen and, surprisingly, Holly Hunter, this was doomed to fail. And casting the smoothy handsome Assante as a tweedy teacher? Please!
