Eric Roberts is detective Walter D'Arcangelo transferred to New Orleans investigating a string of murders. However, the cop has a somewhat tragic past which resurfaces as he looks into the case of a serial killer and forms a relationship with female cop Anna St Cyr (Ashley Crow), who also appears to have some chips on her shoulder. The surnames may be contrived (Archangel/Sincere? ), but there's enough in the characterisation of this TV movie to keep the viewer watching with interest.
