This black comedy comes with a big cult reputation. John Cusack, Minnie Driver (working very hard) and Dan Aykroyd are all better than their material in this story of a hit-man who goes to his high school 10-year reunion and looks up his old girlfriend, while on a job in his home town.

Things begin promisingly, with a wacky performance from the star's sister, Joan Cusack, as his Girl Friday, but then the film loses momentum.

Not bad, though.
