Johnson cut his cinematic teeth when he co-directed the computer animated hit Antz.

While at Northwestern University he produced two animated films and went on to work as a freelance animation director.

He then served as an animation director on The Simpsons 1995 Halloween special Homer3, leading the team in creating the now legendary 3D Homer.

After Antz - the first animated feature from DreamWorks - he co-directed Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas with Patrick Gilmore.

Upcoming projects include the computer-animated comedy Over The Hedge with the voice talents of Jim Carrey and Garry Shandling.
