Nicolas Cage heads an impressive cast in this suspense thriller from director Brian De Palma, which is set mostly within the confines of a sports stadium during a heavyweight boxing match.

Just as an unknown blonde passes an envelope to the watching US Secretary of State, he is assassinated. And the naval officer (Sinise) in charge of the politician's bodyguard misses everything as he's left his post to pursue a mysterious redhead.

Cop on the spot Cage - more used to taking bribes than solving mysteries - nonetheless smells a rat. The blonde and the redhead can't be found and an overhead camera reveals the champ (Stan Shaw) took a dive.

So far, so good. But the plot reveals the extent of the conspiracy and its perpetrators all too soon. Still, like boxing, it has its moments.
