A pulp-fiction comedy-thriller that cruises along in entertaining style, though you may not quite understand the beginning or the end. George Clooney (easily the best thing in it) is the habitual bank robber whose escape from prison sees him forge a bond with kidnapped federal marshal Jennifer Lopez when they're closeted together in the boot of a car. Though they can't get each other off their minds, Clooney's is also on uncut diamonds at the home of rich crook Albert Brooks. Several rather more vicious ex-cons are also after the rocks, and all parties converge on Brooks' mansion for the gripping shoot-out climax.
