She uses it as a vehicle to sulk around in the main role, as a poor little rich girl who fakes her own disappearance to grab her dad's attention, and is then really abducted by zany car thief Benicio Del Toro.
The latter gives one of his most endearingly eccentric performances, but even he's upstaged by Christopher Walken's hilariously bizarre turn as the girl's uncle, a former assassin sent to get her back.
The result's an utter curate's egg, a totally dodgy but strangely appealing mix of comedy, romance and thriller.
Enjoyable and likeable - and a must for film buffs, Del Toro and Walken fans, and collectors of weird movies.
