This one has it all: school busful of kids with learning disabilities; caring bus driver (Maria Conchita Alonso) who adores children but can't have any of her own; psychotic hijacker (Michael Paul Chan) carrying explosives; and a story based on true events. The result: the ultimate TV movie drama designed to tire out the tear-ducts. And who is the patient negotiator sorting out the chaos? None other than Hill Street Blues' maverick undercover cop Bruce Weitz. Of course if you're a Weitz completist, then you'll just have to tough it out.
