The harsh but settled life on Drover's Run, a remote Australian cattle station is upset when Tess, (Kym Wilson), the long-lost daughter of owner Jack McLeod (Jack Thompson) arrives. Thompson, as ever, is well cast as the tough bushman who rules his own little kingdom, while Wilson and Tammy McIntosh (as McLeod's second daughter Claire) are also very good. An enjoyable family drama in a visually impressive outback setting.
