A feeble rfilm purporting to be a romantic comedy about a boy (Steve Huison, who played the sad Lomper in The Full Monty) who falls in love with a girl (Vinessa Shaw) from Los Angeles. He decides that the only thing he can do is to follow her back to her home town. Well, it certainly sounds better than the starting point of Bradford. In an uncredited role, Johnny Depp sends up his own persona, but the wit just isn;t evidnt in the script and cliches abound. The film's Finnish director Mika (brother of Aki) Kaurismaki also appears in a cameo.
