The actor made his feature debut alongside Stephen Fry and Jude Law in Wilde.
A graduate of the London Academy of Dramatic Art, he has divided him time between TV and big screen work.
Television appearances include A Dance To The Music of Time, The Canterville Ghost and Rebel Heart.
He appeared in William Boyd's World War One drama The Trench as well as Guest House Paradiso with Rik Mayall and Ade Edmondson.
Next up came roles in Stuart Urban's unconvincing Revelation and Master and Commander with Russell Crowe and Paul Bettany.
