It's always rotten when an actor or actress you admire turns up in a film that is unworthy of their talents. This poor thriller starring Nigel Hawthorne is a case in point. He plays a hypnotherapist, who tries to understand why a woman (Mary-Louise Parker) murdered her wealthy husband (Jimmy Smits). The end result is by turns confusing and tedious and you'll end up not caring why she did it. All the principals do what they can, but they are battling against a script that loses its way fairly early on in the investigation.
