Ever After: A Cinderella Story

Drew Barrymore is the poor orphan girl who catches the eye of a handsome prince (Dougray Scott) in this faithful and utterly charming adaptation of the Brothers Grimm classic. Sixteenth century France provides a suitably romantic setting for the timeless tale, which finds Barrymore at her most winning, Scott at his most dashing and the wonderful Anjelica Huston at her most wicked as the despicable stepmother.

Ever After

A reworking of Cinderella, with Drew Barrymore as a spirited tomboy in 16th-century France, reading philosophy and slaving for her stepmum (Anjelica Huston) and two spoilt half-sisters.

The older sister plots to win dashing prince Dougray Scott, but it's Drew who dazzles him. The fairytale locations are sumptuous in a fresh and satisfying yarn.
