When two computer engineers are murdered David 'The Coroner' Marx (Rutger Hauer) is assigned to the case. But technology is not his strong point, and so the svelte FBI agent Kris Paddock (Tara Fitzgerald) gives the gruff detective a hand with the technical stuff. The computer engineers, it transpires, were working on a valuable security program and the investigators discover that all servers lead to software pirate Kurt Bishop (Andrew McCarthy). Although this high-tech thriller has a watchable cast, the script, direction and acting, not to mention the locations (Luxembourg stands in for Silicon Valley), overload the system and ultimately crash the film.
