The Thin Blue Lie

An above average made-for-television real-life drama based on the life of Pulitzer Prize-winning news reporter Jonathan Neumann (Northern Exposure's Rob Morrow), Neumann found himself in the centre of a political storm in Philadelphia in 1976, when his investigation of a mentally-handicapped murder suspect who had a confession beaten out of him by the police uncovered an organised network of corruption that led all the way up to the Mayor's office.
