Toby Jones

Born: 7 September 1967
Where: Oxford, England, UK.

The actor first attracted attention for his portrayal of the American novelist Trueman Capote in the drama Infamous.

The son of actor Freddie Jones, he was often cast in supporting character roles until he was cast opposite Sandra Bullock in Infamous.

He voiced Dobby, the house elf in the Harry Potter films, featured with his father in Ladies in Lavender back in 2004 and worked alongside Johnny Depp in Finding Neverland in the same year.

"For me the idea that a script this good could come my way is extraordinary and to then get the lead part in it, you think wow, great, maybe I’ll play a lead part again.

He starred alongside Will Young in Mrs. Henderson Presents in 2005 and in 2006 he played the lead role of Truman Capote in the hit film Infamous.

In 2007, he starred in The Painted Veil alongside Naomi Watts and the slave trade drama Amazing Grace.
