Return Of The Mack
Love Actually makers release that awful song for realIf you've seen Love Actually by now, this will make you groan.
That dreadful, dreadful mickey-taking Christmas Is All Around is (actually) being released.
The Billy Mack song, which he admits in the movie is "crap", will be out the week before Christmas - hopefully too late to let it get to No.1.
Some of the cast are not too impressed with the move, although Bill Nighy (who plays Mack) is quite excited at the prospect.
Alan Rickman said: "I wouldn't be listening to a radio station that played that."
Colin Firth added: "Past the first listen I don't think I'd spend a lot of time with it.
It's designed to hurt the eardrums."However, female leads Emma Thompson and Laura Linney feel differently.
The pair claim they'd "play the song from the rooftops" if it came on the radio.
In the movie, the ageing rock star goes up against Blue in the Crimbo chart race - and wins.
The song is a take-off of Wet Wet Wet's version of Love Is All Around from Four Weddings And A Funeral, also written by Richard Curtis.
