A thoughtful, gentle film about the lives of two women. They first meet when one (Sally Field) suffers a messy divorce and gets a job as a housekeeper to the other (Judy Davis), a dreadfully overbearing personality. The duo soon find themselves at odds, but gradually a friendship develops... Well acted and moving.
