A sci-fi chase thriller that owes a huge debt to the Terminator films, starring Eric Roberts as a present-day cop trying to restore law and order in a decaying society. Nick Mancuso and Saul Rubinek are the 'men in black' who travel back from the future to stop the rot before it starts. As this involves snuffing out teenagers before they commit their crimes, our hero is understandably perturbed. Roberts is uncharismatic and Mancuso way over the top as the idealist-turned-megalomaniac, but it's a fascinating time-travel yarn.
