Bryant made her film debut in the TV movie Carmen: A Hip Hopera with Destiny's Child star Beyonce Knowles.
However, her breakthrough performance was opposite debut star Derk Luke in Denzel Washington's directorial debut Antwone Fisher.
Prior to that she had a supporting role in routine cop caper Showtime, with Robert De Niro and Eddie Murphy.
Recent projects include the biopic Honey about musical choreographer Honey Daniels.
