An episodic drama that tries hard to strip the glamour from a supposedly ritzy occupation. Lesley Ann Warren is the Las Vegas dancer unlucky in love and unloved by her showgirl colleagues. But the acting honours go to Rita Moreno as a world-weary trouper fighting to retain her place in the leggy line-up and to Tony Curtis, marvellously relaxed as Rita's gambling husband.
