A jolly shenanigan from the Disney people, which transposes Mark Twain's tale of the Connecticut Yankee at King Arthur's Court into the space age, with an astronaut jetting back through time and landing in Camelot. Dennis Dugan differentiates nicely between the astronaut and his robot twin and there are some ingenious laughs from the timewarp situation. Kenneth More and John le Mesurier are both treasurable as King Arthur and Sir Gawain, each in turn more fey and fuddled than the other, 'Can I have a word with you after the burning? ' enquires Dugan, as he goes to the stake. 'Very well,' sighs More to le Mesurier. `If he feels up to it.'
