Energetic crime-solving capers with a young brother-and-sister team helped out by their irasible but loveable Grandpa (played by irasible, but loveable Pat Hingle). The biggest surprise in this family fare from Disney is that it's directed by gory horror specialist Wes Craven, famous for such terrifying thrillers as The Hills Have Eyes, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Deadly Blessing and The Serpent and the Rainbow.
