A strident and sometimes effective dissection of a marriage on the rocks of mutual dislike and the eternal triangle. It certainly has star value, with Elizabeth Taylor, Michael Caine and Susannah York as the embattled trio. The film is often abrasive and occasionally funny, although you may well find it, like the raucous Zee (a super professional performance by Elizabeth Taylor), just a little wearing.
