Adapted from a book by Mary Norton, and with music by Rod McKuen, here is a fantasy as charming as it is unusual. The `borrowers' are a family of people who help themselves to household articles such as pins and needles, thimbles and nail files. The extraordinary thing about these people, the Clock family, is that they are only about six inches tall. And they live under the floorboards of a Victorian house. Eddie Albert, Tammy Grimes and Karen Pearson play the miniature family, and Dame Judith Anderson is the bedridden old lady who occupies the house-and tackles most problems by taking another little drink...
