Continuing the lighthearted saga of Bill and his Ruth, begun in an earlier film, Dear Wife (and continued later in Dear Brat). Here, as in the later film, the spotlight is on Ruth's tomboy teenage sister Miriam, played by pretty Mona Freeman. What a change of role this was for William Holden. In the same year he started a film dead, shot and drowned, in a swimming-pool, in Sunset Boulevard.
