Get ready for a heartwarming and very unusual sci-fi fantasy about a group of old fogeys who, after a dip in a deserted swimming pool, find themselves becoming more and more revitalised. Why? Because the pool is full of alien 'pods' that are holding crewmen waiting to be taken home. Don Ameche, Hume Cronyn and Wilford Brimley have very winning ways as the old men, and their ladies, Maureen Stapleton, Jessica Tandy and Gwen Verdon, aren't far behind.
