Woody Allen has taken a disastrous Japanese comedy-thriller in the James Bond vein and spoofed it up with dubbed American dialogue that bears no relation to what the oriental actors are saying. Thus fights are punctuated by cries of `Roman cow! ', `Russian snake! ', `Spartan dog', `Spanish fly! ' or `Turkish taffy! ' There are a dozen good chuckles here, but one is left with a sneaking suspicion that the original might have been (unintentionally) even funnier.
