A rather laboured, vastly improbable and unnecessarily drawn out thriller about four people, involved in espionage, who are all set to kill each other by their chief (James Coburn). Apart from a tensely staged strangulation scene in a shower, thriller fans will find little to say in favour of a film whose tension sags more between every extended minute. Ken Hughes was a good director of thrillers on the whole, but he blew this one.
