A thinking man's porno movie. Hard to believe, though, that voyeurs wouldn't be bored to tears by the first half, in which seven affluent men, at least three of them daugerously unbabnced, meet for their first `club` meeting and end up gleefully wreaking their host's home (with his connivance), casually kicking the furiture around, smashing the kitchen door and shattering priceless ornament in a wild knife-throwing competition. Even so, it's little tough to believe that the host's wife (Channing, inevitably wasted) on arrival home would actually go so far to fracture her husband's skull witha broiling pan, or the doctor member would offer no better advice that to stem the flow of blood with a handkercheif. The remaining six `boys` end up at an opulent brothel with just enough Playboy centrefolds to go round. A good cast, also including Craig Wasson,Frank Langella, Richard Jordan and Treat Williams, presumably saw something about the meaning of life in all this. Wrong guys.
