Though this comedy of marital swap-around is facile in concept, it's so well played by Shirley MacLaine and Anthony Hopkins that it's entertaining and finally just a bit affecting too. Apart from a misjudged Jacuzzi love scene, the film is directed in civilised and assured fashion by Richard Lang and has a liquid score by Henry Mancini. Bo Derek and Michael Brandon provide good-looking if bland support for the stars.
