Ford Gets Divorced

Harrison fimnally ends marriage with estranged wife.

Hollywood leading man Harrison Ford has been granted a divorce from his screenwriter wife Melissa Mathison.

The couple had been married for 18 years.

No details of the divorce settlement or custody arranagements for the couple's teenaged son and daughter have been released.

The Fords, who met on the set of Vietnam War epic Apocalypse Now in 1979, filed for a separation in August 2001.

They had already been living apart for nearly a year and cited irreconcilable differences.

Ford, who is able to command £15m a movie, is currently seeing Ally McBeal star Calista Flockhart.
